Use of Thuraya/Irridum Satellite Phones is illegal in India

As per
the guidelines issued by Government of India, foreigners on Indian
Visas are not allowed to carry Thuraya/Irridum satellite phones to
India for security reasons. It is therefore strongly suggested to all
Iraqi nationals and foreigners visiting India from Iraq not to carry
along such satellite phones during their travels.
