Thirty-five young diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq successfully completed the 5th Special Course for Diplomats conducted by the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), New Delhi. The Dean of SSIFS, Amb Raj Srivastava, conferred valedictory certificates to the participants in the presence of H.E. Nazar Mirjan, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in New Delhi. The course was enriched with multiple interactive sessions covering a wide range of topics, including India’s agriculture and food security policies, digital public infrastructure, global geopolitics and geoeconomic landscapes, negotiation skills and trade diplomacy, artificial intelligence and responsible frameworks, tabletop exercises on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), public diplomacy, cultural affairs and media management, traditional and non-traditional security threats, and the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
