Ambassador Dr. Pradeep Rajpurohit unfurling the National Tricolour on Independence Day in Baghdad

71st Independence Day of India was celebrated at the Chancery premises of the Embassy of India, Baghdad, with great joy and zeal. Ambassador of India to the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Pradeep Rajpurohit, unfurled the National Tricolour in the presence of members of the Indian community in Baghdad and friends of India. Thereafter, the gathering sang the National Anthem. The Ambassador read out the President’s Address to the Nation on the eve of Independence Day. A light refreshment was served at the end of the ceremony.
